This doesn't get any easier. This was our first time deep frying the turkey and it won't be the last. Save hours of worry this is the trick to give Mom a break.

Paula honey, I did a dry run on your recipe, and I must say that I will never, I mean, NEVER, roast a turkey again! I so look forward to this turkey for tomorrow! You never cease to amaze me. I just love all your recipes! You truly sold this Philly, PA girl. My dream is to one day meet you at one of your restaurants. I'll be the one moaning!!!!!!!!
    Your number one fan!

This is the only way I get everyone in my family to eat turkey. Even my dark meat eaters will attack the white meat because it's so moist. As a matter of fact because of this method I now have to do 4 turkeys at a time approximately 4 times a year for various parties and sharing with the neighbors. Thank heavens the project only takes 4 hours to cook 4 turkeys!

Great way to cook the bird. Tried this on some folks that did not think they would like the turkey prepared this way. Glad to report they chose this type over the conventional cooking.
