We always wanted to try a fried turkey-so after watching Paula on air with her tips - we tried it & LOVED IT! Our guests said it was the best turkey they had ever eaten!

This is unbelievable. I have no leftovers. Every bit of the turkey was gone. We all had so much fun outside watching it fry, taking pictures. What fun family time we had. Never again turkey in the oven. (boring Thanks Paula, I wanted one of these fryers for several years, and after we saw your show, my husband finally went out and bought one!!

This was a new way for our family to have our Thanksgiving turkey. Just follow her instructions on the timming, & it will turn out like she says, very moist, & it did.I will say we did inject our bird also. Hope everyone try's this!

This recipe worked out so much better for us than last year's deep fried turkey with the injectable marinade. It was much tastier...and the finished product was much better looking. The temperature of the oil and the frying times were perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better main course.

Never again will I roast a turkey! I don't even know why people still waste their time roasting a turkey when they can have a moist, juicy, tasty and succulent turkey in a fraction of the time! This is a winner! Thanks Paula!

After watching several Paula Deen shows I decided to try her recipe. The deep-fried turkey was a hit, there were no leftovers! The white meat is moist and the skin, the best part, is super crunchy. The key is to use a medium sized turkey (10-12lbs, peanut oil and a deep turkey fryer, which I purchased from Walmart for $37 (Check prices because they can run up to $99 with all the fancy stuff.

This recipee was a hit with my husband and my mother who practically begged me to make two more for thanksgiving. The turkey was so juicy and moist , I could hardly beleve it had been fried. You can't go wrong with this one! Thanks Paula Dean!

This recipe is fool proof. 3 minutes per pound and then add 5 minutes at the end yields a perfectly cooked Turkey every time. You can not go wrong with this recipe it is simply the juiciest Turkey you will ever have. I will not go back to roasting a Turkey ever again - its that good. I cut back on the spice rub so as to not overpower the flavor of the Turkey meat.

I will never have a baked turkey in my house again. Last year was the first time for fried turkey and it was great. I love to watch Paula to see what is next!!
