This recipe was awesome! This is the best twice baked potato that I have ever had and I made it! Thanks Paula! It was a hit at dinner! I followed the recipe to a T and it was perfect! I placed the green onions and bacon on the side for those that wanted to add it to their potato...everyone loved it!

I'm giving this recipe 5 stars even though I made a lot of substitutions. I didn't have green onions, sour cream, or cheddar cheese on hand. I had a mix of onions and red/green bellpeppers that I use for my eggs in the morning. I sauteed that in the bacon grease. I subbed the sour cream with whipping cream and monterey cheddar for yellow cheddar. It was still very tasty.

These were sooo good. Did not use green onions, sautéed diced onions with the bacon. Was almost better before we baked them the second time!

Perfect and decandant. Make them for special occasions and add garlic and more bacon. I do these along Paula's perfect prime rib.

I saw Paula and her husband, Michael, make these along with some coffee-braised short ribs, and they looked delicious, so I decided to try them alone as a main dish. They were awesome and more than enough to feed my family of 3. We had them with a side vegetable and were stuffed! I can't wait to make them again. SO Delicious. And yes, I will try the short ribs, but these potatoes are a meal in itself.

This recipe was amazing! I made it exactly per the recipe, except for the shrimp only came in a 10 ounce bag (Paula calls for one pound of shrimp. The 10 oz of shrimp was PLENTY - it was falling off the top of the potatoes! My parents and husband loved these potatoes. Also - I was able to make these ahead of time. Completely assembled them, then refrigerated them for a few hours. I took them out about 30 minutes before baking them. So that's nice that they can be done ahead. I will definitely be making this again!
