Loved it! I did not have the Scotch bonnet peppers but used a little red pepper flakes. Still had a nice kick. Also used smoked paprika. I will definitely make up another batch and use the peppers and less salt. Didn't use the house seasoning and the seasoning salt and it was a tad on the salty side. Fried it in a pan and deglazed the pan with Mojo Criolo. Trying it next time on chops in our smoker.

These pork chops were fantastic. I did make some modifications though after reading reviews. I did not use the house seasoning beforehand, just the jerk seasoning. For the jerk seasoning, I didn't add the chives and pepper because I didn't have it on hand. It still tasted great though, but next time I think I might reduce the salt a bit as it was a little too salty. I can't imagine how salty it would have been if I had used the house seasoning first. I also cooked the pork chops in a pan on the stove with a little olive oil, as my oven was occupied. Overall, the family loved it and I will definitely use the jerk seasoning many times again.

I have used the seasoning on so many recipes it is great! Even in the slow cooker it is wonderful. And If you read this recipe, Paula said to coat it lightly. It is always best to read over a recipe again before you use it to make sure you understand it.
This seasoning is by my stove all the time.

I went lighter on the salt, and added extra crushed habenero pepper flakes, as well as dark brown sugar. I also used Johnny's Seasoning Salt instead of House (it's my favorite.
Full of flavor, and oh so easy. I will never buy pre mixed or made Jerk seasoning again.

I followed the recipe exactly and had to throw away the pork chops because they were way too salty. If you weren't supposed to coat the chops in the salt then jerk mixture, Paula should have said to sprinkle these on, but she didn't.

This recipe really isn't too salty. Ready directions carefully : My husband has always hated pork and I could never convince him to let me buy any. I snuck this into the grocery cart and surprised him with it for dinner last night. He loves it and he wants it again! It's this interesting flavor of sweet and spicy and the meat is sooo juicy. I did put a few dashes of light beer in the bottom of the pan(we are experimenting with cooking with alcohol but I'm sure it would have been just as good without as we used so little.

This recipe was good, just a bit over spiced. I would recomend cutting back on the "holiday" spices, i felt like it should be thanksgiving or chirstmas in September.

I followed this recipe for the seasonings. I did pan sautee in a small amount of olive oil w/lid (about 4-5 minutes on each side over medium-high, instead of baking them. These tasted so good & were so tender. They were not at all too salty. For the folks who said it was too salty, remember the recipe says 'lightly' season with the house seasoning & seasoned salt.
