WOW, this is good. Very rich, very good. It's like a brownie cake, very moist. Does get crusty around the edges, but that can be removed if you don't like the crunch.

This was my first time making this dish and it turned out perfectly. The batter is much thinner and runny than other cake batters I have baked with so I was worried it wouldn't turn out. 35 to 40 minutes is a perfect time. Everyone loved it because it had a bit of saltiness that went well with the chocolate. Paula's recipes never fail!

It had a delicious flavor, but 40 minutes was too long. It wasn't gooey. I will try 35 next time. We served it with vanilla ice- cream.

Good for a chocaholic. It is difficult to tell when it is done because the topping is supposed to be gooey. Although it was nice and chocolately and all and the kids loved it, I didn't find it outstanding. Very good, but not outstanding.

This recipe is awesome!! I serve it often at parties or bring it to pot lucks and it always vanishes. It is decadent and delicious, not to mention EASY! People will think you slaved away.

Even though the pumpkin gooey butter cake is my favorite, this one comes in second place! It is easy to make and my family loves it! I took it to a family pool party and it was gobbled up in no time. Absolutely delicious!
