My boss made this cake for me as a gift during Christmas 07! Im a huge chocolate fan and one bite made me say OH MY GOODNESS! I loved it and words dont do it justice. It was rich, moist and sinful. Ive searched and found the recipe and plan on making it for many parties in 2008! Simply put, I loved it and you will too. <smile>

I have made this twice. The first time I had no chocolate cake mix so I made it with strawberry... it was DELICIOUS! The second time I made it normally and took it to work and it was a huge hit!

Paula, I love ya to death but if it ain't broke don't fix it. I was raised on Gooey Butter Cake and it was of my family favorites. While I liked this recipe it isn't as good as the original. Sorry if I mess up your five star rating.

Paula, you naughty naughty girl. This is a fabulous recipe that is sinfully delicious. I was glad to get the tip not to overcook it...it really didn't look done when the time was up, but it was. My husband devoured it. I did, too, but I have an excuse since I'm pregnant. *wink wink* This recipe is a keeper for sure.

I had never made this before, but I had read all the reviews and watched Paula make it, so I thought it would do me good. I made this for a contest at my church for the best dessert, and I won "The Tastiest"!!! I gave all the credit to Paula and her AWESOME tasting cake. Everyone in the church LOVED it. It is so good and so sinful!!!
