I have been cooking cabbage for years but after trying this recipe it's the only one I use. The bacon and butter seasons the cabbage to perfection and I'm like Paula I like a little bit of crunch left to the cabbage. This is just a great recipe for us working women!

I am a big fan of Paula and I hate to give anything but a five star review. I thought the cabbage and bacon was excellent, very flavorful, but I used the Libby's brand canned corned beef and found that it was TOO mushy. Maybe it was the brand but the texture wasn't a hit. I will make the cabbage and bacon again as a side dish and might even add my leftover corned beef to it.

This was a delicious dinner that was easy to make in seconds. Although, I didn't use the bacon fat. It was great even with out! My family loves this!! Thanks, Paula ... you ALWAYS have good recipes!!!

I used to spend hours making corned beef and cabbage. My family ate it up like crazy! I usually have some left-overs, not with this. Why didn't I think of this years ago? (I added one cut-up carrot to mine

I thought this was really good. I don't like corned beef, so I used cooked egg noodles instead. Everything else was the same. Delisious.
