We decided to cut back on our food budget so I found this very inexpensive dish on FoodNetwork Website. I was afraid our boys wouldn't like it because of the cabbage. They have asked me for it 3 times since I first made it. It really has an amazing flavor, plus it costs about $3.00 to feed the whole family. WOW!!!!

the cabbage was wonderful, makes for a great side dish or maybe even a soup but when i opened the canned meat i almost threw up. i wouldnt feed that stuff to my dog. i ended up serving the cabbage as a side dish and maybe next time i would use some ham! oh, and make sure that you do not use center-cut bacon. it does not render enough fat for the dish.

I made this corned beef and cabbage for my family of 6. They loved it and it was easy to make. I think I really enjoyed the idea of the bacon. My moher in law makes it all the time , but with out the bacon and the bacon is what makes this dish. One thing tht I added in my recipe was chopped tomatoes.

I loved the flavor of the bacon in this recipe. It adds a special taste that we love. And yes, it's best if the cabbage is a bit crunchy. Yummy!

I think this is a wonderful way to prepare an old standard, but so much easier and faster. As a working Mom, this is a great after work-day meal. I will admit my husband was a little leery the first time I made this, but he is a believer now too. Thanks Paula!!!

I was hesitant at first to make this "fast food" version of traditional corned beef & cabbage. I was greatly surprised with the results. It's an acceptable alternative. In less than 30 minutes, I had a comforting meal on the table! To make sporadically... not such a healty meal due to high fat & sodium content, but pretty tasty!

This is not bad at all. For a quick mean with just a couple ingredients. The canned corn beef you can always keep on hand for this too. I didn't have bacon on hand, but I had turkey bacon. It was fine too, you could even do without. No big deal.

Thank you for this super easy recipe, I did it on a Saturday afternoon while on a study break and my husband who loves Corned Beef really enjoyed this after a day out in the yard.
