Ingredients

  • 3 egg yolks*
  • 1 (14-ounce) can condensed milk
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate sandwich cookies, coarsely crushed
  • 2 cups heavy cream, whipped

Directions

In a large bowl, beat the egg yolks and stir in the condensed milk and vanilla. Fold in the crushed cookies and whipped cream. Pour mixture into a 9 by 5-inch loaf pan lined with foil. Cover and freeze for 6 hours or until firm.

To serve, scoop ice cream from pan or cut into slices.

*RAW EGG WARNING

Food Network Kitchens suggest caution in consuming raw and lightly-cooked eggs due to the slight risk of Salmonella or other food-borne illness. To reduce this risk, we recommend you use only fresh, properly-refrigerated, clean, grade A or AA eggs with intact shells, and avoid contact between the yolks or whites and the shell.

    Wow.

It was ridiculously easy to make and delicious! I used the magic bullet to whip the cream which probably made it even easier... but, all in all. A BIG HIT! Read more

    Super Easy and Super Delicious...

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
This recipe was super easy and super delicious. Instead of using regular condense milk, I used fat free milk which made it... perfect. I've also substituted 1tsp of French vanilla extract for regular. We definitely have a winner! I will never buy ice cream again!Read more

    Pretty good but very sweet

Rated: 3 stars out of 5
Made this in my ice cream freezer. It has a good taste but it is very very sweet. To me it is too sweet to eat, so maybe I... would add less condensed milk next time. Of course, the kids think this is terrific - the best ice cream ever!Read more

Having alot of fun with this recipe! Have been wishing for an ice-cream maker but going for the best seemed sooo... expensive...also where would I put it? I was so excited to find this recipe so good and easy! I put in more cookies of course the first time, WOW is it good! Today used nectarines and mango, yummy with vanilla! A real winner, thanks, Paula!Read more

    Hit a Home Run

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
Unbelievably awesome. If you want to hit a home run with this recipe, add 1 T of Instant Coffee to the cream before... whipping, and add 1/2 inch chunks of a fudgy type brownie to the combined mixture before freezing. People will not stop talking about this.Read more
