I thought the boiled eggs were a little boring; so I think I will try it again and undercook the eggs or maybe mix the yoke with a little salt and mayo before putting in dish. Also felt the cheese cause should go over something, i.e. a cracker or toasted English muffin or toasted rye bread or toasted French bread. I also thought that Paula Dean used nutmeg in airing of recipe but I did not find it in the printed recipe.
Overall, it was a big hit at a brunch, tailgate party I attended but everyone thought it was missing something.

We did this for two and thought if very bland. We changed the the recipe as per the following:
Increased dry mustard to 1/4 cup.
Added 2 shakes of Mrs. Dash extra spicy seasoning.
Added 4 slices of Canadian bacon.
Added 2 dashes of Tabasco Sauce.
We also thought about doing them in ramekins with 1 slice of bacon then the two halves of egg then pour cheese mixture on top and then parmesan cheese.
Then turn them out onto English muffin halves.

This recipe is unbelievably delicious. My friends and family were very impressed when I served it for a Saturday Brunch. This recipe is easy, delicious and surprisingly scrumptious.

I made this for Sunday breakfast today and my husband LOVED it! We didn't have dry mustard so I just used French's regular old yellow mustard and we couldn't find Guyere at our local supermarket so I used Colby Jack and it was AWESOME.
P.S. I made your House Seasoning as well...I LOVE IT!

I made this dish after watching Paula make it on her show. It's easy and quick to prepare and has wonderful flavor. I added a pinch of cayenne pepper to give it a bit of a kick and to make it more substantial, I made a sort of "mock Eggs Benedict" by toasting up an English muffin, adding a couple slices of Canadian bacon and topping it with the egg and cheese sauce. Yum!!! Will definately make again.

I loved this unusual dish. Be careful not to overcook the eggs to begin with though because you have to bake it again. Love the cheese flavor!

I tried this for one of my dishes for a Sunday brunch. It was the hit of the brunch. The sauce was wonderful and I liked the flavor with the hard cooked eggs. It was easy to do, I cooked the eggs the night before, and made the sauce. In the morning I reheated the sauce and poured in on the eggs and then baked according to directions. I will fix this again.

the sauce is delicious and I'll use it again. I agree with previous reviewers in that the hard boiled eggs aren't that great - not bad, just not that good, either. I'm going to try it with potatoes, or maybe with chicken for dinner. The sauce really is yummy.
