These were so delicious. I am not usually a green bean fan, but I loved everything about this dish. Really good flavor, and the red peppers pair great with the beans. Delish!

So good! A different spin on green beans, taking them from simple to well...fancy. I made them the last couple Christmas's when having guests over for dinner and someone always wants the recipe.

Outstanding! Thought it might be too sweet, but no, the bacon, cashews and that wonderful sauce are just the perfect blend of salty and sweet - delicious!!!

I was home canning my crop of green beans last summer and decided to use this recipe. They turned out insanely good. I am getting ready to can this years crop and will do all of them using this recipe.

This is a delicious side dish that I make often! I host a lot of dinner parties and include this as part of my menu often. I use a bit more peeper strips, a few more slices of bacon, and a bit more honey & teriyaki! Always a hit!!!! I've made a big tray ahead of time, and popped it in a hot oven before serving...amazing!

Made this yesterday for a family Sunday dinner. Everyone loved it, even the nonveggie eaters in our group of six. I paired it with a sour cream pork chop dish, and the contrast of cool green beans and yellow peppers against rich, creamy pork sauce was wonderful. The beauty of this dish is the bright colors and interesting combination of crisp items (veggies, nuts, bacon, which made it a bit exotic. Then there is the surprise but very light sweetness of a hint of honey. It’s a cool salad that comes together because you plunge the beans into ice water, which eliminates several hours of chilling in the frig. I will definitely make this quick and colorful salad again. I changed nothing about the recipe. It was perfect as described. Above all, it certainly improves ordinary old green beans.
