I thought was a good substitute for crab cakes..which many people are allergic. I used panko instead of regular bread crumbs and did not have green onion so I used yellow.. It was delish!

The recipie was very easy to make, but I must say that the end result was much more a "tuna fish cake" than a "faux crab cake." They tasted pretty good, but I was expecting more of a crab-cake esque experience. If I knew someone that absolutely loved crab cakes and I didn't have crab meat this meal would not be a suitable alternative. However if the person loved fishcakes/patties then it would be perfect!

I love this recipe, although I use crabmeat instead of tuna and add Old Bay seasoning, it is awesome. Thanks Paula this is a easy way to make crabcakes, and I've even used Salmon and it still turned out awesome.

This recipe was really easy. I had no plain mayo, but I had the new Kraft garlic and herb flavored mayo...they came out excellent...very flavorful

I don't eat shellfish but my sister raves about crab cakes so when i saw this recipe that called for tuna I just had to try it. I added the Old Bay seasoning as suggested by others, since I don't like mayo I used sour cream. I also cooked it in olive oil on a nonstick pan so i didn't have to worry about draining it on a paper towel. It held together well. She didn't say plain or seasoned breadcrumbs so I used the Italian for more flavor.

Faux crab cakes or tasty tuna cakes/burgers? This recipe is very easy and tasty. I added cayenne pepper, lemon pepper, and capers. You really don't need to add salt to tuna since it's naturally salty. I used egg whites and a little mayo with olive oil as the binder. Finally, I baked them vs. frying for fewer calories.

I made these for dinner last week, and I ended up needing 3 cans of tuna (since tuna now comes in 5 oz cans, at least Bumblebee chunk light does. I also think seasoned bread crumbs are a little overpowering, so I'd use plain next time. I added more lemon juice, salt, pepper, and some Frank's Xtra hot sauce to the mix. The tuna cakes were good, I just wish I had used plain bread crumbs. I'd make these again,
