I don't understand why this is called "Five Alarm Chilli"...because although it is good as is, it is not spicy at all...We did the bread bowl thing which everyone loved, and then added to the chilli a few canned hot chillis in adobo (chopped finely, some crushed red peppers and cayenne. I also used a jar of hot salsa in leiu of one of the cans of mexican tomatoes. It was really good.
