Even though I have had great success with all of Paula's recipes I've tried, I was a real skeptic over this one. But, trust me, this is the absolute BEST roast my family and I have EVER had. Follow it just like it says and have faith. You won't be sorry. Thanks again, Paula!

For some reason, I rarely cook roasts
of any type. My two sons are so special
to me; so I decided to make a dinner of
Paula's Standing Rib Road, Parmesan Baked Potatoes, and French Green Beans.
What a meal? What a hit! The roast was the star of the meal. It was simply delicious---tender, properly cooked. All I did was make Au Jus. My sons and my husband really enjoyed the meal.

Paula,
This is the easiest and tasteist way of cooking a roast that we have ever tried. We were suspect at first, but I told my wife that I had faith in you and our family laid upon that roast like a bunch of hungry hound dogs. I thought my son in law was a gonner' cause he ate till he was ready to pop. Thank you so much for making easy a recipe like this.

I thought this title would grab your attention. I made this for my family for Christmas Eve. This was unbelieveable. We like our meat more on the medium rare to medium side so I increased the cooking time by 30 minutes on either side and let it sit in the oven for an extra 20 minutes with the oven off after the second round of cooking and then removed it and let it sit for about 10 minutes to rest. I got rave reviews from even my sister in law who is not a big red meat eater. IT WAS UNREAL!!!

Great results. I've attempted a prime rib twice in the 34 years of marriage and both were failures. Paula has given me such confidence in cooking I figured I couldn't go wrong. Thank you again Paula for another wonderful recipe.

I made this for our Christmas Dinner. The only hard part was telling everyone to NOT OPEN the OVEN DOOR!
The roast was juicy and delicious.

Fantastic. Hardest part was not opening the oven - the smell was fantastic. I'll never cook a rib roast any other way!
