it is the goodest toast I've ever had . When my 11 year old daugther made them I went on a yellow island that is full of french toast with bannanas .

It was easy to make. I used Texas toast, so I cooked the edges until golden. The best part is my son loves it and he doesn't like a lot of foods! Thanks Paula!

This was a wonderful change from the regular french toast I've made. Plus, my 6 year old daughter loved making this with me.

...and so is this french toast! Thank you for making my family very happy on Christmas morning. So easy and very pleasing. The challah is a MUST for the best taste. And if you want to avoid any mushiness, try a super thin slice on the bananas rather than a mash and give the sandwiches a little 10 minute stay in a 250 oven before serving. For a treat, try subbing crushed honey-roasted pecans for the walnuts. Yum!

Usually I am not too much of a breakfast person----a little cereal, bagel with cream cheese, not many choices. I recently spent overnight with daughter and son-in-law, and he loves to cook. He made Paula's wonderful recipe of French Toast and Bananas, and it was devine. Went right to my computer upon arriving home to find it----everything else had to just wait. Try it y'all, you will love it!!!

This was very easy, but we has to use Peacan instand of walnuts. Because my family doesn't really like bananas warm we won't make it again, but was very good for the first time.

There really isn't much I can say for this easy recipe except "WOW!" Although I had never made french toast before, these came out perfect eventhough I didn't use the walnuts. "Thanks Paula!"
