I used peaches, strawberries, kiwi, and blueberries. Topped it with some flaked coconut and melted white chocolate (mozarella cheese: Mmmm...it's great. Made is for my Mother-in-law on her birthday and she couldn't stop gushing about it. Thanks again for a winning recipe.

Paula, thank you for doing justice to the Pizza di Frutta,
Italian. People, even some Italians, will make this torte
out of pizza dough (I don't mind it - if it has a little
wine in the dough & if the dough is light. But, to me, for
this torte, it should be light & a little on the sweet side.
I make a pasta frolla (dough with a little wine & ricotta OR
mascarpone cheese slightly sweetened. Your base - Cream cheese is a good
idea, but mascarpone OR even ricotta can be used for a more
authentic taste.
Amaretto/Grand Mariner can be used for flavorings
(extracts, as well. Top with coconut (toasted, opt
Another variation of this torte is to slightly stew the fruit & bake it on the sweet cheese & in the torte.

We live on a farm, so for "Saturday lunch" I decided to make this for the recipe. Wow, this packs a punch not only in appearence, but the taste is what these men needed after a hard, hot, morning out on the farm.

This a great recipe. Forget leftovers, there shouldn't be any. But if there are, the next day the crust becomes soggy from the fruit juices. But, this is a wonderful recipe. I think it would be good also with just mixed berries on top, i.e. raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and blueberries. Thanks for another good one, Paula.

I made Paula's Fresh Fruit Pizza for my church during our Four Seasons Tea. It was such as hit! It was the talk of the tea--not only was it visually stunning, but it tasted delicious! Thanks again Paula!

My two grandchildren (girl & boy, who are normally not entertained by preparing food, were fasinated by this treat. They got a real thrill taking the 2nd one home for Dad & Mom to enjoy and being able to say "I did this".

This was very good...don't leave off the orange marmalade, though, as it is bitter without it! Very easy to make...excellent for a dessert!

This was such a good dessert! And impressive. It looks great when you bring to a party. I will try homemade dough next time which I think will make it even better.
