I MADE THIS FOR MY HUSBAND ON OUR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY AND HE WANTS ME TO MAKE IT FOR HIM WHEN EVER STRAWBERRIES ARE IN SEASON... HE PREFERS THIS TO STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM. HE EVEN WENT OUT TO BY ME AN ICE CREAM MAKER TO ENSURE THAT I HAVE NO EXCUSE NOT TO MAKE TO MAKE IT.
I even made this for a school function and everyone of my class mates wanted the recipe.
thank you Paula Deen for sharing this recipe with the entire world you ARE the greatest.

My 5 year old daughter and I made this today. We had a ball, and she loved getting to help me cut up the strawberries. I did omit the corn syrup after doing a taste test. It turned out amazing, and my 21 month old couldn't get enough!

This recipe is just awesome. I don't have an ice cream maker so I just poured it all into a freezer safe 9 x 13 type pan and then scooped it out directly from the pan. It was the biggest hit!

This is a great recipe. Living so close to Plant City Florida - the Strawberry capital - March is Strawberry season. This recipie has become a family tradition. Thanks Paula Dean -

I went strawberry picking and had a ton of berries. I made this recipe exactly as written. I turned out Fantastic! I didn't think it was too sweet. Don't leave out the lime juice, it really adds to the flavor. Straining out the seeds was really no big deal and made a nice smooth flavorful sorbet. Will be making another batch.

First time I have ever made a sorbet and it turned out great. Removing the seeds was rather time consuming.

I prepared this recipe as directed, but did not add the corn syrup and I did not strain the seeds.

The sorbet turned out very well. It is SUPERsweet. I am considering halfing the sugar next time. I like the extra "crunch" the seeds add to the sorbet so I will continue to omit the straining instruction.
