Totally tasty and my whole family devoured them. I recommend to cut the biscuits in half or fourths if you use "Grands" Thanks to someone elses recommendation for this. We fried a whole one at first and it was slightly doughy on the inside. The cut ones were perfect. Roll them in sugar and also some in Cinnamon and sugar. Yummy!!

This is similar to Thai donuts except without just dusting it in sugar. Alternatives I recommend are condensed milk, chocolate syrup, a mix of the two, powdered sugar or just white sugar as the topping. Good stuff but you probably shouldn't eat more than two! Oh and cut the biscuits in half!

Loved these 25 years ago when we were making them in college in the bottom of a popcorn maker as 'donuts' and love them now as 'fried biscuits.' We didn't have the honey butter back then, though! Thanks for the update, Paula!

We have been making these for years. We usually make them when we have a fish fry and after all the fish is cooked we drop them in the fish oil and cook them up. FANTASTIC!!
