I can't believe how easy and quick I can have a snack. I used the tube of flaky buttermilk biscuits and they turned our wonderful with just some granulated sugar sprinkled all over. Make sure your oil is hot, but not too hot so they don't brown too quickly leaving a raw inside. Warning: These are addictive.

My mother has actually been making these since we were children. I thought we were the only ones! They are so simple and fast. You can actually put a small piece of cheese on each one and fold it over then fry it, and that is super. I also cut holes out of the middle and fry them like donuts, just coat them with cinnamon and sugar right out of the pot.

Sort of like a fried donut. I used peanut oil and the oil has to be good and hot. My first batch was too oily. You can also glaze w/ frosting or powdered sugar.

These fried buiscuts are so yummy! They are nice and crunchy on the outside but still had the nice soft buiscut texture on the inside.I got splashed with hot oil a couple times well the price you pay for good food! Thanks Paula Deen!
