Not bad! Just a little greasy, but all and all a pretty good recipe.

I tried these biscuits to no avail. Usually i am right on point with Paula's recipes (those crab balls are my fave, but my biscuits were nice and brown on the outside and gooey and undone on the inside. Im gonna try them again with smaller biscuits. Anyone have any ideas, im all for it.

I was looking forward to making these but don't think they came out as good as I thought they would. The outside was too brown & inside a little uncooked. Once you put the honey butter on it though, it was tasty. But considering I'm trying to watch the fat content in foods, I wouldn't make these again anytime soon.

This recipe brings back such memories. When I was in college, years ago, me and my roommates use to make these "doughnuts" late at night while we were up studying. We didn't have access to a kitchen and couldn't have a refrigerator, so we had a hot pot, bottle of oil, and powdered sugar (all contraband. And what a treat it was! I had forgotten over the years about them so thank you, Paula for reminding me! Yum!
