Anything fried must be good! This simple recipe is no exception. I was even able to let my 10 yr. old little cousin help me squeeze the honey butter in the center. The only problem was a half-cooked center in quite a few of them. I was trying too hard for the perfect golden brown!!!

These biscuits were so easy to make, and were a big hit at our Easter dinner. I will be making these again and again!

As kids we made these and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Their taste with powdered sugar is similar to a bengets.

Deep fried bread filled with butter, you can't beat that with a stick. Absolutely wonderful, thanks once again Miss Paula for bringing this to us.

Quick and Easy!!! Crunchy outside, soft inside. Made some homemade honey butter, and it just added to the taste.

These were the best thing do make. I just made a batch again. Last time I kept them plain, but now I put powdered sugar all over them. They kinda remind me of the poor man's beignet. I think in the future I am going to inject them with some custard and some just sprinkle in cinnamon sugar.
