My husband could stop eating them! Although delicious, they take some patience and time. We made it into a team effort - I prepped the beans and onions, and my husband wrapped and tied, then I fried. They are a fun mid-week app with a light dinner (when you have the time to just hang in the kitchen with your family. I will definitely make these bundles again.

reread the recipe. you do not put all the house seasoning in. the house seasoning is a batch made up for you to store, and use in other recipes.

House Seasoning calls for 1 cup of salt. IMPOSSIBLE! I re-read it twice and checked the internet again, but their it was. I cut it to Half cup but it still ruined the batch of fresh green beans. Probably 1T of salt. Anyway, I'll make it again and I'm sure it will be great.

wonderful recipe. I think that the people that are having trouble with the bundles should try putting them on skewers. Fast fun and easy that way.

First experiance with breaded green beans. Took for ever but worth it. First dish to go last thanksgiving. I will make them again, but make more this time and start the day before.

I made these green bean bundles for my family the first time I ever made Thanksgiving dinner by myself. With the stress of the turkey plus other traditional favorites, I didn't think these would come out well, but they were served right away: crispy and hot, and were the first item to disappear from the table! They were great!

Perfectly seasoned if you follow the directions. A little time consuming, but worth it for the holidays. My husband, who doesn't normally like green beans, even enjoyed them. Next time I'll make the the bundles the day before, then batter and fry them the next day.
