I have made fried green tomatoes for years but they never look like they do on tv. I watched this show and Paula used the buttermilk. I used the buttermilk last night and they were so crisp and crunchy! I didn't make the onion relish but now I know to always use the buttermilk.

The onion relish is amazing. If you're a fan of Vidalias, you will filp for this! Blended in the food processor, it makes for a perfect salad dressing. MMMM!
