My fiance and I LOVE these. I've made them 3 times in the past week. I followed the recipe except for a couple of things. First I used "Jack Daniel's Pulled Pork: http://jackdanielsmeats.com/products/PulledPork/nutrition.html , instead of the rib recipe. Which made these super quick and easy to make. Then I used Mozzarella instead of Swiss. Other than that Everything was the same. These Fried Mini Cubans are a huge hit and has given me many ideas for future recipes. I think using the bisquits to fry things in is ingenious. We might try a desert version. Maybe something with an apple pie filling... Anyway, thank you Paula for another great recipe!!

THESE ARE THE AWESOMEST!!! I HAVE MADE THEM 4 OR 5 TIMES NOW, EVERYTIME TRYIN SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT. MY FAM'S FAVORITE IS BBQ STYLE. I JUST SLOW COOK THE COUNTRY RIBS AND 3/4 DONE ADD YOUR FAVORITE BBQ SAUCE TO THE RIBS. RIBS WILL JUST PULL APART TENDER AND JUICY. THE BBQ SAUCE COMPLIMENTS THE PICKLES WELL! SORRY DAISY BUT WE WERENT FEELING YOUR "MOJO RIBS"!! WAY TO MUCH CITRUS. BUT THATS PAULA FOR THE AWESOME IDEA OF MAKING CUBANS W/ BISCUITS!! U NEVER FAIL ME PAULA!! LOVE YA

These were a big hit last night! Instead of the pork recipe, I substituted the microwaveable "Pork Au Jus" from Hormel and just shredded it. Worked out great. Will definitely make these again.
