We made these last night, they were great! The dipping sauce was delicious as well. We used our Presto fryer set on high 375. The onions cooked in about 4 Minutes. Here in WI we call these "haystack onion rings" they are not meant to be heavily battered or coated. This is one awsome recipe ! The sauce is so good I am trying to think of other uses for it.

Super yummmmy! I made these last night and did one batch soaked in milk then batter; then did a second batch in milk, then batter, then beer, then batter again. They were delicious both ways! The onions soaked in beer were much thicker. We put the first batch on top of mini burgers along with the mayo dipping sauce, and they were the best mini burgs we've had in a long time! Will definitely make these again!

My husband and I loved this recipe. We did cut the onions a little thicker and soaked them in milk first. I will make these again.

This recipe was delicous!!! Someone said they were greasy, but when I made them they turned out crisp and thin not to mention absolutely scrumptious. I would make this every time I had a group over for the superbowl or any other sporting event. PAULA YOU ROCK!!!!

Onion rings were great. Not thick and too heavy. The sauce was great with it as well. Made these for the SuperBowl and they were all gone.

I made these for Super Bowl and they were gone as quick as I could cook them. Even my 2 year old couldn't get enough!

After reading the other reviews about the batter not sticking, I couldn't resist and soaked the onions in milk before sprinkling with seasoning salt. Didn't have chili sauce for the dip so I substituted ketchup. Thought one onion was enough for two of us but could have eaten more!

Great Recipe! So easy to make and they are delicious! I cut my onions a little thicker and added a little more of the house seasoning. I think the house seasoning (garlic powder, salt and pepper is what makes these so good! These onion rings are better than any other that I've had at a restaurant!

I watched the tailgating time episode with my grandma, and I decided to make the chicken. My grandma wanted the onion rings, so i made them. I read the reviews, and made half the batch w/ out soaking them in milk and half soaked in milk. Like they said on the show these are suppose to be a barely there batter, and I loved both ways, but if i had to choose, the ones with out all the batter were the best. I just wish i had made the chili sauce to go with them....i am now a fan of onion rings.
