I just made this recipe tonight. I changed it quite a bit but it turned out so well. I added pears, mangos, and grapes in addition to the fruit that's listed in the recipe. I also accidentally used seasame seads instead of poppy seeds. I ran out of honey and used about half grade b maple syrup instead of honey. I also added in a bunch of fresh mozzeralla cheese and extra walnuts. It turned out so delecious!

My wife and I entertained some friends for lunch. This fruit salad was a huge hit. I added some strawberries for added color and taste. Do not leave out any of the ingredients, including the poppy seeds. I'm not to crazy about poppy seeds but everyone loved them. (go figure

All of my friends have asked me for this recipe which is always a compliment. Try it, you'll love it!

    Later,
    Henry

I also used olive oil instead of canola oil, turned out great! Also instead of mustard I only had Dijon Mustard and omitted the poppy seeds since I thought having mustard seeds & poppy seeds was a bit too much "seeds". And instead of the avocado I sliced up some mangoes! I doubled the recipe and took it to work and itwas gone in a FLASH! (It is alittle pricey at the beginning if you have to buy everything, but after the initial purchase the honey, poppy seeds, mustard, raisins and walnuts will last many more times! And believe me, I could eat this everyday!

I made this with agave syrup, as it is much lower on the glycemic index than honey. It was wonderful

This was a big hit at our thanksgiving dinner. The honey dressing was particularly tasty--I added a diced asian pear and used olive oil instead of canola. Sooo good.

I made this salad to take to a picnic at the park and it was so good. Everyone loved this dish. it tasted so light but with great flavor. I didn't put all the dressing on the salad. I would recommond after you make the dressing and your ready to dress it, that you use the amount you want to your liking. You really don't need the whole thing that it calls for, just save the rest, for another day!
