This is the first review I have written concerning ANY recipe that I have used from a web site (regular visitor for the past 5 years.

This is the first one that "knocked my socks off"! Doubled the recipe for a brunch (also used Tyler's Ham Quiche recipe. After sampling, I gave each guest one serving and then "hid" the reminder for myself. Thoroughly enjoyed. Will make often and have sent the recipe to my mother, three sisters, step daughter, daughter-in-law, and nieces, plus any friend that likes food.

Thanks Paula...This one is a definite winner.

I added strawberries to this recipe and it was so good! It is very easy to make and you can add anything you want and it will still be delicious!

Oily and mushy, also expensive to make... Still love Paula Deen's other great recipes

I made an extra quantity of this salad and it was a HUGE hit when I served it for company. I also added fresh mango and peeled grapefruit. Next time I'll leave out the avocado though, the ones I used might have been too ripe and they left everything covered in a green film. Despite the color, people took seconds and even thirds, and I liked that I could assemble most of it the day before and then drain any liquid from the fruit before adding the bananas and dressing just before serving. Bravo!!

I enjoyed making this and made it a few days in a row. I did not put in avocado all the time though because I do not really like the texture. I also included craisins, blackberries and raspberries to give it just a little more flavor.
