I made this for my wife's birthday party & it was a HUGE hit. I substituted vanilla extract in place of the lemon zest & added some toasted pecans....still getting request for me to make it again!!!

This recipe is soooo good that my family told me to stop looking for another fruit dip recipe and keep this one as our family recipe. I rarely use the same recipes twice...so many recipes, so little time...but this one I dare not search for another one to supercede. It's that good!

I only made the fruit dip to go with strawberrys for a party I was hosting. It was a huge hit. Everyone loved it and it only took minutes to make.

Made this tray, with the dip in the pineapple. WOW! This is worth the extra 5 minutes it takes to whip the cream. My guests were so impressed, they were putting the dip into little cups to eat with a spoon. I sliced watermelon and fanned the slices along the top of the pineapple, left the leaves on it, and fanned cantaloupe slices in front of the watermelon. Piled up strawberries, the pineapple bits, grapes and kiwi. I have had so many compliments, thank you for the recipe. I would give this 6 stars if there was a sixth one!

Paula did it again! The dip is amazing. Definitely go full throttle...and not use Cool Whip. It's worth a few extra minutes. My friends gave this dip two thumbs up.

VERY GOOD :, I doubled the recipe and added a 20 oz. of crushed pineapple and 1/2 c. coconut to it.
