Ingredients

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch morsels
  • 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts, plus 1 cup walnut halves
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Maraschino cherries, for garnish

Directions

In top of double boiler, melt chocolate and butterscotch together with the milk. Stir occasionally until mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat; add chopped walnuts and vanilla. Blend well. Chill for 1 hour until mixture thickens. Line bottom of a 9-inch pan, with a 12-inch square of foil. Place 3/4 cup walnut halves in bottom of pan, forming a 2-inch-wide flat ring. Spoon chocolate mixture in small mounds on top of walnuts to form a ring. Top with remaining walnut halves. Chill until firm enough to slice. Invert onto a serving plate and garnish with maraschino cherries

This fudge is great ! I made mine into a log like one of the other ladies did. I use many of Paulas' recipes ,sometime substitute for what I have in the pantry. If these mean spirited people do not like the way you behave on your show they do not need to watch . None of us is perfect. Keep cooking Paula, you can just laugh all the way to the bank. You can not please everyone so please yourself.

this has ever been a good one--but to cut down the excessive sweet taste, use 1/2 the butterscotch chips, substitute sour cream or plain evaporated milk for the sweetened condensed milk and ADD a PINCH of SALT and do it in the microwave. Most recipes forget that ALL candies and sweet sauces need salt!!

First off i love you and your show very much. Also like Barefoot Contessa,
Sonny Anderson, Rachael Raye, Bobby Flay, The Neeleys and Alton Brown.
Paula you are a lot of fun to watch. These folks who complain are they not
aware they can turn the channel, no one makes you watch ladies.
This recipe is so very good fun to make and so festive. Will be making it
any time of the year when I have a chocolate rush. Thanks Paula keep on
being yourself your faithful viewers love it. Like it when you have Jamie and
Bobby and your adorable husband Michael on.
