My mom used to make this salad when I was a child (I'm now 70 only she made it with frozen peas and shredded carrots with shredded cheese, green onions and salad dressing. It was my favorite then and still is.

This is as good and easy as it gets. Nice change from regular old potato salad (although that's good as well!.

Paula's Pea salad is wonderful. I have a husband who loves peas, hates trying new things. He raved about it so much that he wouldn't even let me have the left overs

Fiddled around with the basic recipe. Best with frozen peas. I believe Trader Joe's works best. Also, used a little fresh finely grated parmesan + a little vinegar and a few, chopped roasted peppers.

This delicious salad is an example of comfort food. It is easy to prepare and can be served at a dinner party, picnic or Sunday night supper.
