Loved how easy this recipe was. keep a close eye on them because dries out easily. My family loved them. They tasted alot like those garlic biscuits served at Red Lobster.

These are very easy to make and SO good! Served them with Emeril Lagesse Butternut Squash soup on this site. Great meal

These were amazing. I had been using the "Top Secret Recipes" cookbook version of Red Lobster's biscuits, but these knock the socks off those and are way easier. I meant to use milk instead of water like some people said, but I forgot and they turned out fine. I also added extra cheese (probably double and I used a mix of sharp cheddar and white sharp cheddar. The whole thing probably took me 15 minutes from start to finish. Yum!

Made these for supper tonight and followed some of the advice the others have left - substituted milk for water and added a little of the spices in the batter as well as the melted butter. These are delicious and supremely quick and easy - a huge hit with my growing boys!

I made these a while back and forgot to review the recipe, so here goes. Very easy and quick biscuits to make except to add just plain water left them with a somewhat "flat" taste. I think you need to add some garlic to the mix (not just the tops and use a milk of your caloric choice to the mix. Plain old water just doesn't cut it and left a feeling of disappointment. I was really looking forward to enjoying these biscuits. Will definetely make again with the revisions.

...because they are addictive and way too easy to make. My waistline will not thank me! Made these with my boyfriend last night for the first time, and he initially scoffed at using baking mix. But when he tasted them he was in awe (and ended up eating 8 of them. You will not be disappointed, these biscuits are amazing and SUPER easy!

I would add the salt to the butter, if you unsure just go with halving it. Im new to baking and this was super easy, my biscuits were a bit dry but I was kinda expecting that. I was afraid to add a little milk or more H20 since I have never made biscuits before I wasnt sure what the batter consistency should look like. The next batch I will add in a bit of buttermilk or more H20.

These were so easy to make! I made them per the directions, though I used non-fat milk and added a little garlic powder and parsely to the dough and doubled up the cheese. I used sharp but next time will get some extra-sharp. Also brushed them with the garlic butter just before taking them out and let them brown up an extra minute in the oven. They were beautiful and light and very delicious. Can't wait to try some of the other variations I've read about. Super simple for a quick addition to a meal! And yes, very close to Red Lobster's, which I get a hankering for now and then...this will satisfy my need for cheese biscuits from now on!

I've worked for Darden Restaurants, (which owns Red Lobster, and these biscuits taste and look exactly like them! If you love Red Lobster's biscuits, you won't be disappointed in these!!!
(Oh, the recipe says it'll make 12, however, it really makes just 6 "Red Lobster sized" biscuits.

I made these using a mini muffin pan, baking at 450 for 10min. They came out lightly browned, fluffy inside and perfect as an appetizer. I brushed lightly with unsalted butter and 1/4 tsp of garlic powder (no extra salt.... so they did not taste salty at all.... you just tasted the cheese with a hint of garlic. Next time I might add a little salt if I'm serving them with cocktails. I will make them again ...for sure!
