I would have this as a main course it's so good. Make sure you use a good cheese. As a variation you can always add a little red pepper...

Yum! So easy & tasty & my grill even ran out of gas partway through!!! I used amazing heirloom tomatoes from our local farmer's market so that probably helped but I think it would be great with regular nice ripe tomatoes too...easy & delicious, can't wait to make again.

A lot of flavor. Great side dish with any meat. Have made this several times and guests love it. Easy and fast to prepare

These were amazing. They were soft without being mushy and the toasted garlic was a light golden. The cheese melted all on top was an added bonus. I loved this recipe and will make it again for sure.

This is a fantastic way to eat healthy. They taste like mini white pizzas....but lower calorie.

My husband does not like cooked tomatoes and he tried these and couldn't get enough. This is the second time I've made them and he ate 4 tonight! Used fresh tomatoes from my garden and these were delish! HUbby says to make these anytime! Thanks Paula for such a simple recipe that tastes so good.

Delicious flavor with the garlic sauteed in olive oil. I used fresh basil instead of time and it was fantastic. Excellent, easy recipe.

I do not even eat tomatoes unless they are cooked in something like a soup or sauce, but tomatoes grilled like this melt in your mouth.
