I found this recipe in one of Paula's cookbooks that I recently bought. This salad was incredible! We have made this 4 times in the past week and still aren't tired of it. I did find that if you mix 1/2 mayo with 1/2 miracle whip, you get a lot more flavor. Thanks Paula for a great recipe to use this summer with all of those garden tomatoes!

One of my family's favorite summer salads. I usually combine all of the ingredients except for the crackers in advance and mix the salad together right before mealtime. Can't imagine it would save well, but there are never any leftovers no matter how much I make, so no worries!

This was quite crunchy and probably not something I would go out of my way to make again. Tasted good, but not special.

This salad is wonderful. It's maybe too rich for every-day, but it's a very yummy treat for special meals.

To be honest, my wife and I weren't expecting much out of this one, but boy were we wrong! This is very easy to make and very, very good! We only used one cup of mayo (adjusted it like Paula said in the episode that featured this recipe and that was plenty for us. Overall, great recipe!

My mother sent me one of Paula Dean's cookbooks recently. In thumbing through I came across this recipe and then I began reading the reviews here. Everyone seems so ga-ga over it so I figured I'd give it a shot. I had everything in the kitchen that I needed for it. WOW! This is one the best tasting, simple to make dishes I've had in a long time. I'll definately have this again. Reminds me of the kinds of things I threw together when I was poor and in college. But Paula has made that kind of eating famous! Haha. Great salad Paula!
