Paula's recipe for giblet gravy is the one I've been looking for for ages.....it's simple, yet extremely good...My Mom makes dressing like yours and putting it into the gravy makes it really down home good....thanks again for this and all your other recipes...

being a southern girl, i was
raised on cornbread dressing and
giblet gravy. well i never could
duplicate my mother's gravy so
i finally quit making giblet gravy
until i discovered paula's recipe.
this is fabulous. i think the
real secret is adding the 2 tablespoons
of the cornbread dressing. what
flavor....

We fried our turkey this year and thus, had no pan drippings. What to do for gravy? This stock-based recipe was a great solution, loved by all. Added pluses- 1 healthier than a roux-based gravy and 2 it fit with the simplicity of frying the turkey... no fuss and really, really quick! I added chopped fresh thyme, parsley, and sage and a touch of hot sauce just prior to serving for a really fresh look and taste.
