This crisp cookie has great flavor! I would not bake on a Sil-Pat mat...needs the direct contact heat of a cookie sheet.
The men in my kitchen loved these!

So easy to make & great tasting. I've been looking for a ginger snap recipe for along time. These fit the bill.

These cookies are absolutely yummy and despite the "medium difficulty," very easy to make. The only down side to the recipe is the recipe direction to space dough balls 1/2 inch apart on cookie sheet. Since the cookies spread out quite a bit when baking, resulting in a crinkly top, be sure not to crowd them in the pan. I did followed the spacing instructions and ended up with one big cookie. Regardless, everyone loved the crunchy sugar coating and the chewy insides. It won't be very many days before I will have to make them again. I'll do better with the spacing next time.

This cookie recipe has been in my family ever since I can remember. It has always been a favorite, and is at every family occassion. It is the perfect cookie-chewy in the middle and crispy on the edge. The only problem is I can't stop eating them!

These are the best & easiest ginger cookies I made. I tried the more complicated recipes, with not so good results. Thanks for the great recipe!
