Yuck. Dry and chalky. Needs about 50% more sugar, a tablespoon of water, 1/2 cup less flour. Spices were about right, maybe needed a touch more cinnamon but that's to taste

So dry I had to add about another 1/2 stick of butter and 1/3 cup of half & half to make it into actual dough. Then I had to add more of the spices because the additional ingredients kind of drowned them out.

As part of our holiday tradition, my son and I bake these delicious cookies, along with the 3-in-1 Sugar Cookies. The recipe is perfect as is. We make gingerbread boys and have fun decorating them with icing, sprinkles, and M&M's. They're yummy!

These were very good and easy to make--I baked approx. 6 minutes for a softer cookie. They had a mild ginger taste-next time I make them I will add a bit more ginger-not much more though ;-

The dough was so dry as to be completely unworkable. I couldn't roll it at all...it simply crumbled. I thought it seemed strange how crumbly it was after mixing, but figured maybe it would come together while in the fridge. No such luck. I wound up throwing the dough away. I used large eggs and followed the recipe precisely. I do not understand at all how this recipe could ever work!

I didn't think these turned out tasty enough. I tad chalky :( They were easy and fun to make and I did like the crunchy edges and softer center, but the flavor just lacked.
