Delicious chicken marinade....I didn't have any hot sauce on hand, but used a little chili powder which gave it some nice flavor. Will definitely use it again....marinated the chicken longer than what was suggested.

What a dish to fix for a large family get together! I wanted to make something that I could spread out the fixins for on my kitchen island and let everyone make their own dinner. This recipe certainly fit the bill....everyone enjoyed these Fajitas and had alot of fun making them and topping them off with lettuce, cheese, sour cream, hot sauce, salsa--you name it! This recipe is not only easy, but appealed to even the pickiest of our eaters! I used both steak strips and chicken to give variety. The marinade makes the difference. The meats really pick up the flavors and the leftovers were great heated up the next day. Keep up the good work, Paula. Your recipes I have tried most always rate 5 stars with my family and friends!

I actually found the chicken recipe great and we had also added a little bit of liquid smoke to the marinade. We also used olive oil for the veggies and with the sizzling tray, it was great. I never thought the kids would eat all those vegetables. They were GONE! The peppers tasted soooo sweet! We did a guac also with them. I think you can do this straight up or if you've been cooking for a long time, you can find ways to tweak it to your tastes.

I tried out this recipe just now. It says to marinade only for 20 minutes, but I let it go for about 4 hours... I usually marinade for at LEAST that long. The chicken, after perfectly grilling it, tasted extremely bland and almost a chalky consistancy. If you have your own marinade, use it. I would suggest using a dash of worchester sauce instead of hot sauce, and olive oil instead of vegetable.

This was my first experience making fajitas at home. I made both beef and chicken for a Cinco de Mayo dinner with friends. They all raved about how good it was. It was simple to make and with homemade guacamole and salsa it was the best. I was telling my friends that I had read some of the reviews before I decided on this recipe and they said to give it a RAVE review. Paula, I have made other recipes of yours and this one just proves YOU ARE THE BOMB!!!!!!! Thank you

I found this recipe easy and delicious. I can't believe someone recommended to buy a packaged seasoning mix instead of using this recipe....Yuk.

Make this recipe, you won't be disappointed.

These tasted just like a restaurant! They were pretty easy. I did not have the proper pans for serving the fajitas sizzling, nor did I have a real grill (I used a George Forman and they were mouth watering!

I've been married and cooking for 37 years, and I love to cook. Trust me, for those of you who've been cooking for a while, this one is a definite loser. You're far better off buying the prepackaged fajita mix from Lawry's or wherever. Less time and better tasting.

Very simple and easy to make. I marinaded and cooked chicken, steak and shrimp. I substituted olive oil since we don't like vegetable oil. Canola could also be substituted. I also added fresh chorizo to the vegetables as I was cooking them. I used my cast iron pan to sizzle the fajitas in at the end. Came out restaurant quality.
