This was absolutely delicious!!! We added a bit of cayenne, chili powder and red pepper flakes instead of hot sauce. The chicken was so juicy and with a sprinkle of lime juice it really was delicious!

Delicious! I was looking for a quick and delicious meal to make. I usually buy the prepackaged fajita season, but NOT ANYMORE!! I'm not a measurer, but once I saw the spices I eyeballed it. Definitely a winner! The lime juice really kicked it up a notch. Note: I had a small piece of cabbage leftover from last night's meal. I sliced it up and sauteed it first with the seasonings and lime juice. Didn't have a cabbage flavor, but did add texture to the fajitas. And that was a plus, as well.

I tried this recipe last night and used beef and shrimp. I wasn't feeling the cumin or the hot sauce, so I left those out. It made the shrimp awesome but wasn't as thrilled with the beef. Next time I will use the cumin and hot sauce in the beef and see if that changes it. oh, I also added some imitation crabmeat we had left over and that was awesome too.

I won't make my fajitas any other way! This recipe is delish! I always make extra marinade just to make sure I am coating every inch of the chicken. before you make up your fajita..try adding cream cheese to your tortilla and then adding the chicken/pepper mixture, squeeze a fresh lime over it all, and wrap it!! YUMM!!! My family loves when I make these fajitas. My kids think it's cool when I heat my cast iron skillet, and throw the mixture into it! I also agree with the other reviewer, this recipe is great standing alone, without a tortilla!!

Like another poster said, I double the marinade. I also add some chili powder and some chipotle powder for a little heat. I use half of the marinade for the meat, and pour the other half over the vegetables once they're done sauteing.

Excellent! This is my favorite meal at a local restaurant, El Jardin. I have tried them at many restaurants and not found any as good as El Jardin's. But these ARE!!!!

Very easy to make. Great for a night when you don't have much time. The only change I made was doubling the marinade...the chicken was very tasty.

This has become a go-to recipe in my house! So very delicious! Id even recommend the chicken and peppers alone as a low-carb option!
