The BEST stuffing I've ever had, and well worth the effort. Everyone loved it, even people who don't normally like stuffing. A permanent fixture at all my Thanksgiving dinners from now on!

I made this recipe for Thanksgiving and my family raved wonderful country flavor. I guess they were so happy that we didn't have Stove Top Stuffing. The sausage gave it a real country taste that you would expect, if you were sitting at my Gradma's dinner table. Needless to say this will always be apart of our Thanksgiving feast.

I knew this would be good, but I didn't know HOW good! Everyone loved it, even the picky eater! I was hesitant to try a sausage stuffing having not had one before. This was so moist and tasty we are having it again for Christmas! Also, I had never toasted my own bread for stuffing, but it was easy and came out great!

i made this for thanksgiving...i decreased the liquid by a cup and still it was MUSH!! i was very disappointed in this

I cooked it for this thanksgiving, and everyone loved it. I enjoyed how the rice balanced well with the bread. Some stuffings can be strong in the seasonings but this one was just right. I didn't do the Mushroom Giblets but it was still good.

This recipe turned out great. It will definately feed more than 8-10 people. I used Rachel Ray's stuffing muffin idea in which I made 12 muffins which left me with a whole tray of stuffing left over which wasn't even touched during dinner. I am not one for fancy schmancy stuffing recipes. This was definately good old country stuffing and will definately make this next year for Thanksgiving.
