I LOVE Paula and her recipes so I have high standards when it comes to making her food and I have to tell you, I was blown away by this. Not only does it taste AMAZING but it LOOKS beautiful as well. I made this for a Sunday brunch and everyone commented on how great it looked before we even sat down to eat. I did "tweek" this recipe a bit though. I omitted the cream cheese (only because there were people that do not like cream cheese at the brunch. Next time it definitely goes in and used pecans instead of walnuts just to "class it up" a bit. Also the cooking time was 40 mins instead of 30 but WELL worth the wait. If you need something quick, easy yet impressive for just about any occasion make this your new go-to recipe!!

Do yourself a favor: ADD BACON TO THIS RECIPE. Cook it and crumble it up in there, skip the nuts, HEAVEN.

My husband loves this and always ask me to make it. Had to slow him down on eating it though reminding him he is eating a lot of biscuits. I altered the preparing of this recipe slightly.
I use 3 cans of biscuits to make it stand taller and prep them with the cream cheese and wrap them individually in the sugar and cinnamon mixture then dunk them in 2cups brown sugar and 1 1/2 stick of butter mixture one by one with a fork or toothpick then place them in pan and sprinkle with chopped pecans and walnuts between each layer. This assures each biscuit is soaked in the mixture which makes this recipe even more tastier. Any time my family have a pot luck dinner, I am always asked to make this.

I didn't like the cream cheese in it. I think that I will stick with Monkey Cake. I love cheese danish so I thought this would be a nice addition. I would never make this cake again.

LOVE this!!! i just read the review where they added extract. great idea as the cream cheese, even when left out is a little hard. my partner is not a big sweet eater, but he can't get enough of this. perfect for brunch, pot luck, or just to have with your morning coffee/tea.

This is the best. I add 1/4 tsp Almond extract to the soften cream cheese. It gives another layer of wonderful flavor. This is so easy and everytime I've made it for holidays or company it is gobbled up quickly.

This was good, but not as good as I had hoped. I like Paula's Ultimate Coffee Cake recipe much better.
