    This cake is wonderful, and it does get better the next day. Shared it with 5 other people and they all loved it as much as hubby did! A cousin makes a very similar cake, slightly different icing and have asked for the recipe many times to no avail..some people just don't like to share...but now thanks to Paula I have my very own delicious apple cake recipe..love ya Paula PS: Baked mine in a lasagana pan because I didn't have a bundt pan, just shortened the time

    This recipe was the easist to put together. The flavor was out of this world. My whole family loved it. I will make this cake over and over again.

    Mine just went into the oven and I'm already giving it a '5'. If this cake tastes even HALF as good as the batter, it's bound to be a winner. YUM!

    This is absolutely the best apple cake I have ever made. It is so moist and has a very rich flavor. My family loved it warmed up with vanilla ice cream on top. Paula, you have come up with another "Grand Champion".

    I made this cake and had one piece of it since I'm a diabetic. I sent the rest to my husbands work the next day. I had all the airline mechanics calling me for the recipe. I had to fax it over to them at work! It was unbeleviable. My husband said it was even better the next day (which was hard for me to believe because it was SO good the same day I made it.
    Thanks Paula, the airline mechanics thank you too! Love your show , I'm from the south too.
