I made this cake within hours of watching the show. It was easy to put together and turned out great! All that tried it thought it was delicious. I left the skin on the apples, and used a bundt pan and was happy with the results.

This cake was very easy to make;however, at first I thought it required to much oil but it was just right. My co-workers loved it.

Oh wow, Paula is just the best!!! This recipe is delicious and my whole family loved it. It's a nice, rich cake with lots of flavor. And I love the icing that goes on top! Try it...you can't go wrong with this recipe! Oh, and before I forget...don't over-cook the icing!!!

    Thanks Paula!

I made this cake for my husband and he loved it! He could smell it cooking and couldn't wait to eat it. I tried to make it lower in fat my using splenda for sugar, applesauce for oil, and light butter. It still turned out rich, most, and delicious!

This was a wee bit too sweet for me. Next time I think I will add lemon juice to the glaze to cut the sweetness. Other than that, it is a wonderfully moist cake that even I can make. Oh! I did use a 13x9 pan because I did not have a tube pan.

Cake was very eacy to make and was wonderful. I liked the way you mixed everything together at once and the way the glaze was added. I took the cake to our Country Club and everyone thought it was just wonderful. Very moist.

I made this cake the day I saw the show. It was easy to make and family thought it was wonderful to eat. It was so good that I am making it again today to share with my painting friends.

A couple of items to note that were mentioned in the show but not on the recipe. Paula said to use green apples and to poke holes in the baked cake with skewers right before pouring the sauce on the cake. Having the holes in the cake really helps to spread the sauce throughout the cake.

If you like apple cake, try this one.
