This was really good, first time ever making Fried Chicken instead of buying it from KFC, LOL....It was very easy to make, simple really, very crispy and very bad for you I am sure! I bet this isn't in her recipe books now with her diabetes! But it was great!!!

This is an excellent recipe, very basic but good. It is a necessity to use a cast iron skillet. If you find the chicken is not brown but not cooked through, pre-heat the oven to 350 and put in a few minutes until done. I hope they have this in the buffet in Tunica in a couple weeks!

Tried this recipe two nights ago. It was delish! chicken was very juicy and moist. i seasonsed it a few hours before cooking with salt pepper and garlic powder. i also used more pepper than the recipe called for to season the flour. i will be making this one again and again!

I bought some chicken thighs on sale (bone-in and skin-on. I'm not usually a big fan of chicken thighs, but this recipe changed that. I browned them really well in the crisco and then put them on a foil-covered cookie sheet at 350 in the oven because I couldn't fit them all in the frying pan. I also added some of Paula's house seasoning to the flour.
Delicious.
