This is a great recipe that you can make with minimal ingredients, and my husband can even make it and it will turn out just as good as a restaurant!

I have never attempted to make fried chicken before but this recipe was so simple that I will make it all the time now. My mother is from Charleston, SC. so I know good southern cooking. And from now on when I get a craving for a down home meal, I know what to make!

When do you put the chicken in the fridge? After the flour? What do you season it with? They really should have a FAQ section with these recipes for troubleshooting you know.

Paula, I told my sister I am going to trade her in and make you my sister! My fried chicken always came out heavy and greasy so I quit trying a few years ago. I tried this recipe and now I am back to making fried chicken that everyone loves!! You are the best part of FoodNetwork!! Go Girl!!

This recipe is so juicy and delicious. I pre-seasoned with Jane's Krazy Mixed Up Salt and Lemon Pepper. Then to the flour mixture added a little Mrs. Dash and rubbed sage. The best part about this recipe is how simple it is. Thanks Paula!!

The key is using a small chicken. Large ones dont cook as fast & are tougher. My husband said that if I cook chicken like this he'd eat it evey night...imagine that?

I seem to always think that the more ingredients you use, the better fried chicken should be . . . WRONG!!! This is the perfect fried chicken recipe, that is if you are southern like me!
