My mother and sister always fried chicken the way my grandmother use to fry chicken. However, after trying your recipe, all I can say is that "IT AIN'T NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH" Keep on doing what you do Paula. I love your show and I'm only interested in good old southern cooks like my mom, sister and grandmother.

I have had a lot of fried chicken over the years and this is the best I have ever had.The only thing I found is that it takes longer to cook than 15 minutes.I didn't have the pan overcrowded but it took about 20-22 minutes.Still, it was definiately worth the wait.It will be the only recipe I will ever use from now on!

We have tried so many fried chicken recipes its how to count them all. This is the easiest and best tasting fried chicken we have ever tried.

The best Fried Chicken ever. I was unsure how it would turn out I have tried many receipes over the yrs and this I must say is the best. My husband and daughter raved about it. They actucally like it better than Browns or KFC. I plan on making it tomorrow night again. Wow!! I can't wait!!

This is really awesome fried chicken! In her cookbook, Paula says to use Lawry's seasoned salt for this recipe (which I noticed wasn't on this list and it really makes it! Definitely try it, you won't be sorry!
