This cake turned out soooo well. I cooked it for Thanksgiving and it was gone within a couple of hours. And now I have people asking me to bake them this cake instead of giving Christmas presents. I do recommend using a jar of marshmellow cream instead of melting the marshmellows that was much easier. Also I add about a 1/2 a cup of unsweented applesauce just to help keep the cake moist. It was easy to make and such a hit. Thanks, Paula!

THIS IS THE CAKE TO END ALL CAKES. Look no further, this is the perfect red velvet recipe. I've made so many over the years and everyone was just ok. Well, this cake is off the chart delicious. Everyone I shared this cake w/ went ga-ga. Thanks for a fantastic recipe Paula.

This recipe is pretty good but I think it has too much coco powder in it, it ends up having a slightly funky taste. I would put less coco in next time.

This was the best cake I have ever made, and I am forever trying new recipes. My husband ate almost all of it within two days. The frosting is out of this world- I will be using it on everything from now on!!

Made this for a family dinner we were having. Easy to follow directions. Turned out exactly as it was supposed to. The frosting is terrific and almost did not make it on the cake. Thank you to the lady who suggested using the jar marshmallow. It worked great and was much easier to use. Highly recommend trying this. I am going to make it again for our family Christmas night.
