My WHOLE family enjoyed this tasty cake. It is so wonderful to make something that EVERYONE can enjoy, which is a challenge with children. My boys loved this alone or with a big scoop of their favorite ice cream. It lasted about 2 days in my house! A BIG hit - great to serve with company.

This pound cake was very moist and tasty. I think next time I will add some almond extract to the batter or make a berry sauce to go over it. My husband enjoyed it with ice cream. He even went back for a second piece. Thanks Paula...keep the good recipes coming!

This is THE best and most flavorful pound cake I've ever eaten! Great for anytime of the day! A lady from MS had given me this receipe awhile back, so happy to have found it again!

A great foundation for a morning cake recipe also.

What an amazing pound cake! Great fluffy texture and rich taste. I did use a combination of vanilla and butter nut flavoring thanks to recommendations here, I must agree that it was the *perfect* flavoring for the cake. I will definitely make this recipe again. It's just as easy as making a cake from a boxed mix, yet a million times more flavorful!

Would have been great if I took it out of the oven at 1 hour instead of 1 hour and 10 minutes the full hour and 20 would have been a disaster. It says to butter and flour the pan, but I never do with a non-stick pan and have never had any trouble getting the cake out before. Could be that it was a little overcooked. Will give it a second try with 1 hour cook time. The inside cake was still pretty good.

My mother made this yesterday. She said it was good but nothing like a pound cake should be. The texture was too light not like a pound cake.

I served this dish at a dinner party with a salad. It was a hit and everyone wanted a copy of the recipe. I used 1/2 cup mayo and 1/2 cup of sour cream instead of all mayo.
