This was very good cake, but not at all the texture of pound cake. It was lighter and fluffier, like regular cake. I would make it again, but not as a "pound cake".

This is my second from scratch cake I've ever made, and now I'm a cake makin' fool! It was easy and my husband was dying to get his hands on it the minute he saw it baking in the oven. Delicious...what flavor. Thanks Paula, as always...another hit at our house!

Very easy to make and a big hit with my dinner party--hot fudge sauce, berries and ice cream make it even better!

This recipe is not only easy to make but it's deeee-licious! My five year old granddaughter and I make this recipe together and she loves the batter so much that I can't get it in the pan fast enough!

I was excited making this cake. It was fairly easy to prepare and since I don't have a 10" tube pan, I used my 9 3/4" bread pan. About 10-15 minutes after putting the cake in the oven I smelled smoke. The batter was overflowing over the bread pan and onto the oven floor. Yikes!! I thought it would be OK since the pan was nearly the same size. Next time I will use TWO pans instead of one. Otherwise, the cake was great.

Absolutely delicious! My husband is my best critic and he's comment was, "It's the best one I have ever tasted." I did read the others reviews prior to making this cake and a decided to use 1 1/2 tsp. of vanilla and 1 tsp. of butter nut flavoring. The results were the 'bomb'! I lady friend of ours who is in her 90's once told me, when making a pound cake, you always add at least 1 tsp. of butter nut flavoring. Butter nut flavoring and pound cake go hand in hand. She was right! Delicious Paula. We love you @ our house.
