I would give the taste 5 star. Why 4? Because of the can Cream of Mushroom. I never like the taste of canned food and I hardly walk down canned food section in the store. Paula's recipes usually start from scratch. I was disppoined when I saw the "can" in the recipe.

However, I followed the recipe and LOVE IT. Fresh beans tastes great. I didn't 100% follow the House Seasoning. I just put a pinch of everything that calls out in the Seasoning. The Cream of Mushroom is salty enough, along with cheese. Really, I didn't need much more than that. Everyone at the table loved this dish, so did I.

Do NOT change a thing. Gosh, I read the reviews and swear people do not get the point of a review. Paula's Green Bean Casserole is fantastic. I did not change it at all. It was perfect. Everyone loved it!

I'm asked every Thanksgiving to bring green bean casserole and I absolutely hate the traditional recipe for it. I searched for a different version and found this one. Everyone LOVED it and asked me how I made it. This is going to be the dish I bring from now on!

FANTASTIC!!!! I added water chestnuts for extra crunch! Skipped the house seasoning. The cheddar and french onion topping was scrumptious. Per family's request, I will be making more of this tomorrow!

    Thank you, Paula!
