    This was a delicious recipe. I used chicken stock (not broth, which I think made it even better. I've never had a Green Been Casserole with cheese on top. My family loved it! Will absolutely make this again next Thanksgiving.

    I tried this recipe during christmas. My husband and my sister really loved it. My husband said he never had this kind of yummy casserole. Paula, I love how simple and tasty recipes you offer. thank you.

    This is the basic green bean casserole with added additions that keep it from being that "same old casserole".

    I have never liked green bean casseroles because of the crunchy onions on top. This recipe solved that, and it has become a new staple in our dinner rotation. I liked using fresh green beans which made a difference because they don't go soggy like canned beans would.
